(I surprised her on her maybe her 21st birthday in the 1st picture (I have the short hair!) 2️⃣ We have always dressed totally different except for when my mom made us wear matching clothes when we were little and during teenage years when she’d “borrow” all my really stylish clothes? 3️⃣ She’s classic & stylish & extroverted and needs to be around people…while I am more introverted, despite my extroverted ways & personality & I dress “more different”? 4️⃣We grew up playing Barbie’s, racing quads in our backyard, playing house…and either pretending we were saving dolphins in our pool or playing house…complete with pretend husbands and baby dolls. 5️⃣We were known as “The Johnson Girls”…and have been asked if we were twins ever since was like 2 until now, even!? 6️⃣I wish I knew to savor the moments of eating dinner my mom made, on trays in the living room, wearing basically matching outfits (I’m in the lazy boy chair with the longer hair) …because these times were greater than I knew, in the moment. 7️⃣My Sister lights up every room she goes into & makes everything a fun party. Her house is always perfect and decorated to perfection. She’s the funniest, most laugh easy, always making everyone laugh, always stylish but could hop on a tractor or on a wild horse fearlessly and be perfectly at home. ❤️I love you Sass…and thankfully we don’t sleep in the same bed where my elbow is in yours face!? I love you more than words…we probably look like we’d never be friends because we dress so different but there’s no one else in the world who could ever be what you are to me…my best friend/sister❤️✨

Today my mama @theshannonjohnson turns 60! On October 1st,my precious mom was born…the day the most beautiful, caring, selfless, creative, positive, encouraging, adventurous, kind hearted, will make friends with everyone-everywhere she goes, soul…that I just thank God for letting me have her for a mom…because she’s the type of mom I wish everyone could have❤️ I wouldn’t be who I am without the love, life lessons, inspiration, encouragement of every wild dream, way of dressing, haircut or color…she even put up with my phase of her coming home and I would’ve “surprise made-over” a bathroom and painted the walls a very “artful technique” and color in my childhood home!? Flashback to the last day we were out before Quarantine…over 2 months ago. @doctorford has been my Quaranteammate and best friend. He’s been my support, my strong shoulder to lean (and a couple times to cry) on and my constant source of laughter, fun and love and also helped me take my hair extensions out! I know couples have reported lots of fighting during quarantine but we’ve just grown closer and even though I didn’t think it was possible, I love him even more❤️ I’ve loved shopping in masks & gloves but still laughing in every store we hunted for toilet paper in, cooking together and “dinner dates” in the backyard, cuddling on the couch watching movies and just missing him when we’ve already been together non-stop, but he just leaves the room. Never in my life have I trusted, loved, communicated so easily and safely and felt truly cared for and cared about. He is truly my Prince Charming! And watching him with the kids just melts my heart even more. He is always making them laugh, encouraging them & teaching them things. Just listening to him talking with Ellie or doing drawing contest with her Ellie to teaching Blake boy stuff like bike tricks & backflips into the pool… watching them laugh and want to impress him with their non-stop tricks for him to watch and them just adoring & loving him❤️ I never knew I could find a best friend or a love like this. We think so similarly that we could finish each other’s sentences, but different where he’s strong in all the areas I’m not. I’ll save the story of how we met for a video or something…but I remember looking in his eyes, only in a photo before I met him and thought it seemed funny but I thought “Those are the eyes I’m gonna grow old looking into and who I’m gonna marry”… My Prince Charming…I love you so much my hilarious and handsome best friend… @doctorford … And to everyone out there heartbroken or heart hoping…your best friend that you won’t even believe you will love so much or be happy with and communicate so well with it will amaze you, is out there!
