Initially, David began his hockey career playing as a youth in Switzerland with Rheintal and Bulach. Eventually, he moved to Kloten at the under-15 level.
David then made his professional debut for the EHC Kloten in the Swiss League during the 2021-22 season. Eventually, he started playing for Kloten in Switzerland’s National League (NL) in 2022.
