Recently on 7 September 2020, he was placed on injured reserve following a ginger injury. He suffered a broken finger but later was activated on 5 October 2020. In the Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Damien recorded 17 carries for 100 rushing yards, though Patriots lost the game by 26-10.
