American Tennis player, Coco Gauff is the youngest ever finalist in the girls’ singles event at the US Open at age 13. She is also the recipient of the 2018 Junior French Open which makes her the second youngest to secure the prestigious win.

The Player was born as Cori Gauff on 13 March 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia. She is home-schooled by her mom, Candi Gauff; a former teacher while her father, Corey Gauff is also a head coach. Apart from her caring parents, she has two younger brothers in her family.

The 15-year-old started playing at age seven and went to Delray Beach, Florida for training. She got the fortune to ally with New Balance as a part of her multi-year sponsorship contract in October 2008. A year later, she announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Italian food company Barilla in March 2019. She makes a prominent paycheck which increases her net worth from this two agreement.

In May 2018, Coco made her ITF debut as a qualifier into the 25K event at Osprey, where she won her first professional match. Likewise, she secured her first junior Grand Slam title in June 2018 at the French Open at the age of 14. Three months later, she won the girls’ doubles at the US Open with her partner Caty McNally in September 2018. 2018 was a great year from the tennis prodigy after she became victorious of the Girls 18 and under the division of the Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships.

In the month of June 2019, she reached her third qualifying round at Wimbledon to reach the main draw, becoming the youngest player to qualify for Wimbledon in the Open Era. A month later in her Grand Slam tournament debut, she defeated five-time champion Venus Williams in straight sets.
