The broadcaster is the son of Bruce Haynes Jr. and Betty Haynes. His parents have played a significant role in his journey from passion to reality. He is accompanied by a brother named Mark Haynes who works at The Sacramento Observer, covering the Sacramento Kings.
Haynes earned his high school education at Fresno Adult School. In 2008, he earned a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fresno. While at college, he intended to be a coach and a PE teacher.

Chris has been married to his wife Charlotte Haynes for several years. The pair exchanged the wedding vows on 29 April 2003 and have been inseparable since then.
The two lovebirds have known each other for more than 25 years. They first met in 1998 at Roosevelt High School, where he transferred following three years at Edison High School.
Charlotte is also a graduate of his alma mater California State University, Fresno, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She is a certified life and marriage coach by profession and runs Charlene’s Beauty Supply.
How Many Children Do Haynes & His Wife Have?
Together, Chris and his wife are raising four children from their marital relationship. They have four daughters including Justin and Jada. Jada was born on 27 May 2009.
Justin is a 2024 graduate of Clark Atlanta University. All his daughters are getting involved in the family business at Charlene’s Beauty Supply. His second daughter runs the social media there whereas his oldest daughter does a lot of the conversations with different people (like a spokesperson).
