After Charlie’s father left the house, his mother married and gave birth to two kids named Oliver and Christian. They were added to Charlie’s sibling bond which he only shared with his own elder brother, William.

Charlie essayed the role of Dr. Alan McMichael in the 2015 American gothic romance film, Crimson Peak. The movie helmed by British director Anthony Minghella was made on a total production cost of $55 million. Adding almost $20 million revenue, the film at the box office generated $74.7 million. Likewise, the 2003 epic war film, Cold Mountain also took the box office by storm. Surprisingly, the movie is written and directed by Anthony that collected $173 million at the ticket windows on a production budget of $79 million.
