Carmen Corley tried various sports until she found a love in tennis. A professional tennis player, she has been enjoying career accomplishments with her older sister Ivana.
Carmen Corley is an American professional tennis player with a career-high WTA doubles ranking of world no. 170, achieved on 1 July 2024.
Currently, she ranks world no. 189 in the WTA doubles ranking and no. 1182 in the WTA singles ranking. Furthermore, she has a career-best ITF Singles Ranking of no. 410, achieved on 11 July 2022.
Corley has won nine titles in the ITF doubles circuit. She won her first major ITF title at the 2022 Las Vegas Open, in the doubles draw, partnering with her sister Ivana Corley.

Carmen Corley Comes From A Sports Background
Carmen was born to parents Eddie Corley Jr. and Maria Corley on September 17, 2001. She grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her three sisters Vivica Corley, Vianca Corley, and Ivana Corley.
The player has a sports background from her father who was a football player. Eddie was a 4-year Varsity Letterman in Football and Track at Huron University in South Dakota. He still has a love for football and is a huge fan of the NFL team, Chicago Bears. He is now in the automotive industry, serving as the President at Corley’s Albuquerque Lincoln and Corley’s Albuquerque Volvo Cars.
Moreover, her elder sister Ivana is also a tennis player who has a career-high WTA doubles ranking of 173, achieved on 22 April 2024.
Corley Has Won Five ITF Titles With Her Sister Ivana
Carmen and her sisters tried other sports while growing up. From ballet to karate, they had tried it all but did not stick with them until tennis.
The Corley sisters began competing in national tournaments when they were in middle school. Similarly, they once dominated the state tennis scene both at Eldorado High School and on the junior circuit.
As of now, Carmen and her sisters have won five titles in the ITF Women’s Circuit as partners. They are always supportive of each other’s careers.
Carmen Had A Remarkable Collegiate Career At Oklahoma
Earlier, Carmen played at Eldorado High School and won the singles state championship there. While graduating in 2019, she was ranked No. 1 in New Mexico and No. 7 in the nation for her recruiting class.
To fulfill her wish to play alongside her sister, she committed to the University of Oklahoma on July 25, 2019. Her college achievements include the ITA All-American in 2023 & 2022, the 2023 All-Big 12 Doubles First Team (No. 1 Doubles) & Singles Second Team, and the 2023 Big 12 All-Tournament Team (No. 1 Doubles).
Corley graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies from OU in 2023. She is studing Master of Business Administration there.
She Was Once A Youth Tennis Coach
Carmen has voluntarily worked as a tennis coach at Bart Scott’s Tennis Camp. In a Summer Tennis Camp she coached players from ages 8 to 18 for one month in 2016.
As per her LinkedIn, she managed different skill sets for the children and instructed a group of 5+ players at once. Similarly, she aided in the development of player level in a short period of time.
