Brenda Fruhvirtova Family: Meet Her Parents & Sister
Brenda was born to parents Hynek Fruhvirt and Martina Fruhvirtova on 2 April 2007. Her birthplace is Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
The 15-year-old comes from a sports-loving family as her father Hynek is a former hockey player. Her parents have sacrificed much to build their career in tennis. They even left their home interior design business to focus on their daughter’s tennis career.
Fruhvirtova is the younger sister of another professional tennis player Linda Fruhvirtova. Linda, aged 17, now ranks no. 54 in the WTA singles ranking and has reached a career-high ranking of no.51 on 20 January 2023.

Well, the Fruhvirtova sisters trained together at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in France. Both sisters competed in the 2023 Australian Open.
Fruhvirtova’s Professional Journey
Fruhvirtova was ten when she won her first title at the U12 Eddie Herr tournament in 2018. She won the Trnava Cup U14 single title in 2019.
Moreover, she and her sister won the Petits As doubles title together in 2019 and she won the singles title in 2020. Eventually, the Fruhvirtova sisters became the first members of the same family to win the title two years in a row.
Brenda made her professional debut at the age of 14 at the WTA 125 tournament in Seoul. She became the second-youngest ITF Circuit champion after winning her first title in February 2022.
As of now, she has won eight singles and one double title on the ITF Women’s Circuit. She became the fifth-youngest qualifier in Australian Open history after debuting at the 2023 Australian Open.
