Devastated by the news, Peter Tork’s family also issued an official statement claiming the former died peacefully at a family home in Connecticut. Besides, they urged his fans to make a contribution in Peter’s name to donate to the scholarship fund at The Institute for the Musical Arts in Massachusetts. It’s a nonprofit organization that tends to provide music education to young women.
