Cameroonian professional basketball player Pascal Siakam plays for NBA team Toronto Raptors. He is the 2019 recipient of the NBA champion and NBA Most Improved Player including the 2020 NBA All-Star honors.

Pascal Siakam Bio & Family

The player was born on 2 April 1994 in Douala, Cameroon to parents, Tchamo and Victorie Siakam. He is the youngest in the family, along with his three brothers, James, Christian, and Boris Siakam. Pascal’s dad passed away in a car crash back in October 2014. Late Tchamo enrolled his son in St. Andrew’s Seminary in Bafia at age eleven.

He went to God’s Academy in Lewisville, Texas. Pascal then attended New Mexico State to complete his college and play for the team from 2014 to 2016. He stands at a height of 6 feet 9 inches (2.06 m) tall and weighs around 104 kg.

After two years at the New Mexico State, he got the fortune to be part of the 2016 NBA draft. The Raptors picked him on 23 June 2016 and just two weeks around signed his rookie contract on 9 July 2016. Likewise, in the 2016-17 season, after Jared Sullinger’s injury, he was part of the team.

The player’s and Raptor association has been extended for four more years. They agreed to sign a soaring contract worth $130 million on 19 October 2019.
