Nikki Svetov is appearing as a contestant on the 42nd season of America’s favorite quiz show, Jeopardy! She will mark her debut on the 2nd April episode on Thursday.
As per the show’s format, she will meet two more contestants, including a returning champion, Jamie Ding. Jamie is unstoppable this season, recording his 14th straight win on the 1st April episode with a final score of $11,600.
The Lawrenceville, New Jersey-based bureaucrat and law student has made a 14-day total of $371,600. Moreover, he now sits tied for 13th place among the show’s greatest champions, edging closer to trivia immortality.
The other new contestant, Brian Chu, a professor from Cary, North Carolina, is also taking on the Jeopardy stage for the first time on the episode.
