Elizabeth Hurd is a new contestant to appear on the longest-running trivia game show, Jeopardy, this season. She will make her television debut on Thursday, 26 February 2025.
As per the show’s format, she will face two more contestants fighting for the champion spot. One of them will be the returning two-day champion, James Hirsh, a lawyer from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
James will return to the Jeopardy podium on Thursday’s episode with a total two-day winnings of a whopping $47,418. The other new face to appear on the episode will be Patrick Creech, a planning director from Pink Hill, North Carolina.

Elizabeth Hurd Wikipedia, Age & Family
Elizabeth has reached the age of 33 now. She was born Elizabeth Ann Hurd somewhere in the year 1993.
Originally from West Bloomfield, Michigan, she was raised by her parents there. Her father is Bruce Hurd, and her mother is Barbara Hurd. The eldest in the family, she has a brother named Michael Hurd.
Hurd completed her high school education in her hometown. She then went to Saginaw Valley State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education with a major in English and Biology in 2015.
Furthermore, she studied abroad with ISA in Galway, Ireland. Later, she studied a Master’s of Divinity at Boston University School of Theology.
Elizabeth Hurd Is A Pastor
Elizabeth serves as the pastor of West Bloomfield United Methodist Church in West Bloomfield, Michigan. She is the Elder in the Michigan Conference.
Moreover, she is passionate about ministry with young people, equipping leaders for the future, and pushing for the church to be in the world in new and bold ways.
From 1 July 2026, she will begin her new tenure as an Associate Pastor at Birmingham and Berkley First. She will serve both campuses with a primary focus on leading the Berkley First congregation.

Is Elizabeth Hurd Married?
