Who Is Jason Ballard’s Wife?
Ballard has been enjoying a married life with his wife Catherine Gardill Ballard. The couple exchanged their wedding vows decades ago on 10 December.
Catherine serves as the Finance Director at Giles County and Giles County Public Schools. She obtained a degree in Law from West Virginia College of Law in the year 2004.
Jason first met Catherine while attending West Virginia College. His wife is also seen supporting him in his election campaign. He says,
I’m so thankful to be married to Catherine. Her love and support have carried me and our children through tough times, with elections being no exception.
How Many Children Do They Have?
Jason and his wife are blessed with three children. They have sons named William Hart Ballard, James Edward Bruce Ballard, and John Thomas Ballard.
The eldest one, William was born on 12 January 2008. Likewise, their youngest son John Thomas was born on 16 December 2014.
All of their sons now attend Giles County Public Schools. Their son William is into sports and plays basketball and golf at high school.

Jason Ballard’s Early Life & Family
Ballard has reached the age of 46 now. He was born Jason Sherman Ballard on 28 December 1978.
As per wiki, his parents raised him in Giles County in the town of Pearisburg, Virginia. His mother Lisa Mustain works at Macy McClaugherty School.
Jason attended James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He then went to Concord University and earned a BA in Political Science and a BS in Management in 2001.
Furthermore, he holds a Juris Doctor from the West Virginia University College of Law, graduating in 2004. He later obtained a Master of Laws from The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School.
Inside His Career
Jason has been serving as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 42 since January 12, 2022.
As a member of the Republican Party, he was elected to the newly formed 42nd House District in 2023. A former member of the Pearisburg Town Council, he was first elected to serve the 12th House District in 2021.
Ballard is the owner of a law firm named Ballard Law LLC, serving clients in Pearisburg and throughout Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio.
Earlier, he worked in the military, joining the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps after his graduation. He then served in the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), and deployed twice into combat in Afghanistan and Iraq.
A decorated army officer, he has earned the Bronze Star, 4 Meritorious Service Medals, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the German Armed Forces Badge of Military Proficiency, as well as the Pathfinder Badge, Parachutist Badge, the Air Assault Badge.
