Mac was born McClure E Meissner on 8 February 1999. His birthplace is Charleston, South Carolina.

The 25-year-old was later raised by his parents Kurt Meissner and Katie Meissner in San Antonio, Texas. His father is in the medical sector and serves as the American Board of Urology certified urologist based in San Antonio.

Meissner shares a sibling bond with a brother Mitchell Meissner and a younger sister, Amelia Meissner. His brother Mitchell was a collegiate golfer at Rice University and has won PGA Tour Latinoamerica’s 2021-22 Totalplay Cup. He has received immense support from his parents and siblings throughout his tennis journey.

After graduating from Alamo Heights High School in 2017, he attended Southern Methodist University. There, he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2021.

The two lovebirds got hitched on 18 November 2023 at a beautiful ceremony at the Fort Worth Club in Fort Worth, Texas. They dated through their college years and got engaged in November 2022 at Pebble Beach in California.

Kennedy was a collegiate golf player at Southern Methodist University. There, she also obtained a Bachelors in Applied Physiology and Sport Management. She serves as an account manager at Payne Stewart Kids Golf Foundation.

Inside His Golf Career

As an amateur, Mac was named an Antonio Express-News Boys Golf Player of the Year in 2017. He also won the Region IV-5A and District 26-5A medalist crowns.

From 2017 through 2021, he played college golf at Southern Methodist University. Likewise, he won the individual title at the 2019 AAC Championship and was named the 2019 AAC Golfer of the Year. He was also named a three-time All-American.

Meissner turned professional in 2021 after representing the USA in the Walker Cup Match at Seminole Golf Club as an alternate. After earning a top-30 spot on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, he earned a PGA Tour card for the first time for the 2024 season. He has played on 69 PGA Tour events to date.
