Krawietz was born to parents Rudolf Krawietz and Ingrid Krawietz on 24 January 1992. His parents raised him in Coburg, Germany.
The player learned tennis from his father at the age of five. His father and mother have been playing a supportive role since his early days. He has a sister named Melaine Krawietz.
Kevin was 17 years old when he left his parents and hometown and moved to Munich for training. There, he trained at Tennisbase Oberhaching until 2017.
Kevin Won His First Grand Slam In 2019
As a junior, Kevin has won one junior Grand Slam title. He won the Wimbledon Championships – Boys’ doubles tournament with French partner Pierre-Hugues Herbert in 2009.
As of now, he has won 17 doubles titles on the ATP Challenger Tour. Likewise, he has won four singles and 27 doubles titles at the ITF Men’s World Tennis Tour.
Krawietz captured his first Gland Slam in 2019, winning the French Open doubles title with partner Andreas Mies. He won the French Open doubles title for the second time with the same partner in 2020.
